Darrian Evans
Founder/Board Member
Darrian is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) and a National Board-Certified Counselor (NBCC) in the state of Kentucky, offering clinical services for a variety of populations such as substance use, depression, anxiety, severe mental illnesses, trauma, etc. She has worked with children, adults and geriatric patients for 4 years combining both counseling and yoga/meditation modalities to support healing and growth in each individual. She is a 500-hr Yoga Certified Instructor and enjoys sharing the practice of yoga with clients.
Darrian is very excited to begin this journey with Louisville, It Takes a Village (LITAV) to continue to support the Louisville community with programs that are accessible to the general public. She believes that it truly takes a village to support each other and is excited to connect with other programs and organizations to fulfill the mission of LITAV.
Kim Kimbrough
Board Member
Kim Kimbrough is a proud Louisville, KY native and a passionate advocate for standing in the gap to be a lending hand wherever she is needed. Kim attended The University of Louisville and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice back in 2016. She currently works at T-Mobile as an Expert Sales Representative, has aspirations in building a real estate portfolio, and strives to be a community asset by joining the board of Louisville, It Takes A Village Non-Profit Organization. Kim continuously and actively seeks new ways to improve herself, help develop and cultivate others around her, and provides a nurturing spirit to those in need.
Kim’s diverse and professional background will bring a fresh perspective to the table by helping The Louisville It Takes A Village Non-Profit Organization and their project initiatives. She is excited to collaborate with a local organization that is passionate about bringing forth awareness, providing applicable resources, and promoting overall healthy wellbeing to individuals.
Tonia Jones-Dikuwa
Board Member
Tonia is a Certified Social Worker (CSW). She currently works as a Mental Health Therapist for U of L Peace Hospital working on the inpatient adult psych units. Tonia is currently working towards her licensure in social work (LCSW), as well as completing Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma therapy.
Tonia values her faith, family, and community. She is passionate about helping at-risk communities; specifically, individuals suffering from or affected by substance use and those impacted by domestic violence.
She is interested in the non-profit to further make an impact on the community she lives in and serves.
Tonia is excited and eager to see lives changed and lifestyles shifted as LITAV brings awareness in the areas of health, wealth, and advocacy. She is ready to be challenged as well as challenge those in the community to live a better life, today.

LITAV is beyond thankful for this amazing and dedicated team. We come from different professions but our passion stands with service to the BIPOC community. We understand that we are all connected to one another through this thing we call life. We believe in providing the community with tools to be resilient in their healing.
