Louisville's It Takes a Village PROJECT, LITAV, facilitates discussion and action plans to promote change around racial injustices, health and wellness in Louisville BIPOC community. Our commitment is to provide BIPOC communities with healthy tools to promote generational wealth and health.

Our Mission

Together we are devoted to providing Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) with tools and resources to develop self-efficacy in their overall wellbeing: mental health, physical health, spiritual health, social health, occupational/education success, and financial literacy. We also strive to collaborate with organizations and communities to develop a language of Togetherness.

Our Purpose

Our purpose is to collaborate with community members to create a balance between partnership and self-efficacy while addressing community needs.

Our Vision

Our vision is to facilitate healing and resiliency, rather than self-isolation and dependency, and effectively address historical trauma in the BIPOC community.
